Ok , I'm not the most consistent blogger in the world. I'm still shooting, just been very busy since little Coen turned up in March. Life is very full at the moment.

Meaghan and Anthony's wedding was last week, we had a great time. Beautiful locations and weather made for some great shots around Balmoral and Gunners Barracks, Middle Head. Thank you for letting me be apart of it.

Cheers

My March wedding was Michael and Belinda's. Up in the Blue Mountains, we had a great range of locations, the main one being the Train and Toy Museum. This is a terriffic location and we had a wonderful relaxed shoot here. It was a great wedding, plenty of happy people to shoot and a couple very much in love :)

Coen Lewis Greene was born on Monday, March 23rd at 9:32pm. Bit of a streched out day long saga. He was a little reluctant to pop out but did so naturally in the end. Femia is fine, Coen was 3.28 kgs, 50 cm long, a little smaller than his brothers.

Blake and Myles have been very excited about his arrival. They call Coen "new baby". I think young kids expect babies to be as we think 9 month olds are. They have been surprised by Coen's inability to play with them but are otherwise happy with him. He is a week old now, sleeping and eating well and adapting to his new much busier life.
Consistent blogging doesn't seem to be one of my greatest strengths. I have quite a few photos to put up. I do fewer weddings these days, aiming for one a month which is a lot less than I used to. My photography business have moved a little more towards portraiture and I'll be putting some more of that work up soon. Now that Blake, my oldest is at school I don't want to give away all my weekends anymore. That being said, I have some empty months this year and if you want me to shoot your wedding please just call.

The other major distraction has been the arrival of Coen Lewis Greene, our third boy, we only do boys here :).

Cheers

The kids have been only known 2 speeds this summer, on or off. I guess thats pretty normal
News for 2009. A new boy is on the way, all three of them pictured here. The last great shot of Blake's baby teeth which he managed to smash out on Christmas Eve. We suspect some funny business between Santa and the tooth fairy.

Number 3 is due at the end of March and is expected to leave 18-20 years later.

Merry Christmas and happy New Year everyone. Just emerging from a three week break over the holidays. Lots of fun with the kids. Back to work last Saturday at Peter and Carolyns wedding. Its been a very long time since I have shot a wedding at a house.

They had configured the wedding really well with the ceremony in the front yard and the reception under a marque in the backyard. A very relaxed a fun wedding it was and nice start to the New Year.

This was another first for me. Kevin and Chris's wedding marked the first time I have covered a father and his son's weddings. Thank you to David and Rebecca who referred me. The wedding was on a beautiful day at the Watermark on Balmoral Beach. A nice venue at a great location. I really enjoyed the wedding, they seem to be living a great life full of travel and love. Thanks for letting me be apart of it.

What fun this wedding was!! I hope I have as much passion for life as Joe when I hit my 70's. Joe and Mary just got married and in their 70's. What a lovely couple, a great story of love. This is why I shoot weddings, love and passion. May all my 09 weddings be as good as this.

Some of my latest work with kids. I really enjoy this style of shooting. I always do it onsite at the clients home. I keep it simple with few distractions and props. At this age you want to keep a very controlled environment for the shoot to get the best results.

We dodged a bullet this week. Dark skies, pouring rain all morning and a ceremony at Westhead. You cannot get more exposed than that. But James and Jasmine were relaxed and fortune favours the brave... Didn't rain on us at all yet the sky was heavy and even had a sunset at the end of the day.

I really enjoyed the day and we got some great images.
