Last night I was invited by one of my brides Sarah Jane to cover a charity event for Breast Cancer Week. I was certainly happy to do so and it was a really good night, hopefully the first of many. Sarah and her boss, Sharon, owner of two salons called the Art of Hair, put the fund raiser together in three weeks and over 80 girls paid to be pampered for the evening. Lots of companies gave their time and product and good money was raised to help Breast Cancer research. Well done ladies, it was a great night for a worthy cause.

Scott and Katrina's wedding was at Angelos at Cabrita. The third wedding I have done here. I like that everything is so close and it makes for a relaxed day. Katrina could not take the smile off her face and Scott was not far behind. Tara and I had a really good day and I think the photos reflect the good times.

Much of Katrina's family was down from Queensland and I think that was one of the reasons for a fairly informal wedding. I'm always happy for something different and Scott and the boys with no jackets was a nice change. I'll post some more photos later as I edit them.

Kris and Anna, who are currently putting in some well earned RR in the Whitsundays, got married on the weekend. Tara and I had some fun with video light as you can see in the bottom image. The weather was perfect and we did the main shoot at Nielson Park, Vaucluse.

Anna had a stunning ivory dress with amazing fine detail. The standard of dresses so far this seaon has been really high. I hope for more of the same.

Now that I have an assistant I will really be able to push the creative edge. Its fun to introduce new work all the time. I hope all my weddings this year are as good as Kris's and Anna's. I cannot wait to show them the images.

Last week I mentioned Tara. She has just joined me as my assistant and this week we are starting to gain momentum as a team. She is making some really good contributions yet she has been giving me some attitude. I wanted a picture for the blog and this is as good as it gets at the moment. I'll see if I can do better next time.
