Michelle and Jeff, and 350 friends and family, used Sydney Uni as the venue for the reception at their wedding. It made for wonderful photos with all the great architecture. There was a service at Newington College and a tea ceremony at the Uni.

A small bridal party made life easy and we were able to capture alot of cool images of the couple. I have shot several times at the uni this was the best light we had there. Good light beats good location everytime. I know we photographers can be a little obsessive and picky about our lighting conditions but seeing light is what we do.

Easter Saturday and it was Melissa and Grants turn to get married. The weather did not play ball though and we had to move indoors from the intended location of Blues Point. There was a rainbow just above the bridge which would be a fairly unique shot I think. I rained on and off a few times but once at the venue we managed to dodge it fairly effectively. Although not to plan I think everyone enjoyed the day as they are a great couple.

I hope they are having a relaxed time in Fiji as I type this.

This week it was off to the Hunter Valley. I always enjoy weddings in the Hunter and Kelly's and Heaths promised to be fun. I had already photographed Heath's sisters wedding and its nice to see people I know when I'm working.

Heath turned up in a helicopter which is a first for me ( and Heath). The day was magnificent and it was a relaxed wedding with a small bridal party and Heaths two kids, Oscar and Renee, kept us entertained.
