This was another first for me. Kevin and Chris's wedding marked the first time I have covered a father and his son's weddings. Thank you to David and Rebecca who referred me. The wedding was on a beautiful day at the Watermark on Balmoral Beach. A nice venue at a great location. I really enjoyed the wedding, they seem to be living a great life full of travel and love. Thanks for letting me be apart of it.

What fun this wedding was!! I hope I have as much passion for life as Joe when I hit my 70's. Joe and Mary just got married and in their 70's. What a lovely couple, a great story of love. This is why I shoot weddings, love and passion. May all my 09 weddings be as good as this.

Some of my latest work with kids. I really enjoy this style of shooting. I always do it onsite at the clients home. I keep it simple with few distractions and props. At this age you want to keep a very controlled environment for the shoot to get the best results.

cheers

We dodged a bullet this week. Dark skies, pouring rain all morning and a ceremony at Westhead. You cannot get more exposed than that. But James and Jasmine were relaxed and fortune favours the brave... Didn't rain on us at all yet the sky was heavy and even had a sunset at the end of the day.

I really enjoyed the day and we got some great images.

This year is going past too fast. A late September wedding and a little late on the posting, sorry everybody. Alison and Andrew's wedding, little church in Ryde, Pyrmont Point and Lauriston House, all great locations. Lots of fun, a beautiful day and a bridal party wanting a good time (when they weren't hungry :-) ). Thank you Kelly for referring Alison and Andrew to me, I really had a good time. Everything went perfectly, its worth putting the planning into the timeline, always pays off.

Nathan and Liz got married last weekend. The reception took place at Oakville House. I love the North West of Sydney and there are plenty of great places for photos. For this wedding we just shot around the venue but there were some nice spots and the light was really nice. Thank you Nathan and Liz for letting us be a part of your special day, we had a great time.

Those of you that have visited my studio in the last year will have seen pictures on my wall of Kris and Anna. They are a favourite couple of mine and so it was with great pleasure to me that Michael, Kris's twin brother, wanted me shoot his Hunter Valley wedding to Jenny.

It was in August and in the middle of my flu but what fun day we had. Took me four days to get over it. Pepper Creek was a great venue with their own chapple and a beautiful reception with an open fire and great food.

Hunter Valley weddings, I've yet to have one that wasn't terrific, are always fun. Blending lovely surroundings with great wine and food, always seems to lead to a great time. I was also familar with the crowd and that makes a wedding that much more fun.

Thank you Anna and Kris, Michael and Jenny

Hi Everyone.

Sorry for my lack of blogging in the last month. I was nailed by the flu and it was as much as I could do as to be up for the weddings I had to shoot. August has been very busy and Amanda and Jonathan's 8/8 wedding was the first. We had plenty of time and wandered around Maquarie st for the photos. Its a great location with lots of cool spots for photos.

First time for me in the Chinese gardens as well. Plenty of great shots to be had in there. Amanda's dress looked beautiful as well and its great to see some colour on a wedding dress.

Last Sunday it was Grant and Laura's turn to get married. Lauriston House was the venue and fortunately the rain held off for us. Laura looked fantastic and we had a great day. Currently they are relaxing up in Cairns. Liberal use of dry ice on the dance floor allowed us to take some wondeful dancing shots. Not enough attention is paid to lighting and atmosphere by many venues and DJ's so it was great to work with affects such as these for a change. We do add our own lights but we can only do so much.

Wonderful wedding this weekend at Curzon Hall, our favourite winter wedding destination. Ian and Kerrie, now sunning themselves in Vanuatu had a great day. The thin about Curzon Hall in winter is that the light is soft and there are so many options. You feel like you can shoot forever.

The top shot here was from Tara, she is coming up to speed nicely, her best shots yet

Busy time coming up with alot of winter weddings this year.
