I think it is important as a photographer to try and step out of the comfort zone occasionally. I entered a landscape print in the Australian Professional Photographic Awards this year and it attained a silver award.

As I was taking it I was thinking it would be great to have a bride and groom in the shot. Though my passion for shooting these days is people I still enjoy landscape whenever I can.

Nicole and Glen were my latest victims :-) Great locations all over Rose Bay and Bondi Beach. One of the best things about shooting this time of year is that we get to use the best light. All the way up to sunset and past. We photographers can be pretty fussy about our light, but producing great shots under all conditions is what we are paid to do.

3 weeks holidays for them and me as well now. I cannot wait to get away with my family and maybe turn the camera on them for a little while.

Michael and Katrina flew in from London and got married in their hometown with friends and family. The shoot was fun, just the two of them and we wandered around the Quay taking lots of photos before the wonderful experience of eating at Aria.
